How can I help?
It isn’t difficult and you
just took the first step by being interested in our project!
SAILORS
All sailors who would like
to be a Sea Courier just have to send us an e-mail with following
data:
-
personal details
-
scheduled route
-
a little comment about
our project and your personal motivations
Remember that you may
participate even though your route doesn’t coincide with the projects we
are already developing. To be a Courier doesn’t only mean to transport
material, it is most of all to organize an information network for the
good running of our project: information about organizations and
projects with which we could collaborate and that would receive future
Couriers. We are looking for sailboats and for any help to support the
headquarters that organize the shipping. If you travel, even if you are
no seaman or sailor, do not hesitate in contacting us.
VOLUNTEERS: You can all be volunteers and help the Sea Couriers.
You can volunteer in your country collecting material and/or funds for
our association. You can compile useful information and aid of any kind;
you can involve other people and other associations in our project. If
you enrol the Sea Couriers you will meet other volunteers from the area
you live in, and work together for the Sea Couriers. You can also help
by travelling to the places where we are developing projects and
collaborate actively. We will even try to find a sailboat to take you
there.
All people interested in helping at any of our running projects can mail
us his personal details, telling us with which project they want to
collaborate.
All those willing to volunteer, are asked an subscription fee of €12 to
support the headquarter of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. |

We need: |

• translators from Italian into Spanish, English, French, Portuguese,
Russian, Arab, Japanese...
• volunteers willing to collect and store humanitarian aid in the area
they live in.
• orthopedic material
• school materials: note books, ballpoints, pencils, blackboards and
chalks, crayons and Portuguese schoolbooks for the school of Marechal
Rondom
• the required hardware to assemble a radio FM station in La Roçina
• sailors on long trips willing to take humanitarian aid on their
sailboats.
• people to go as volunteers to the school of Salvador de Bahía
dedicating their holidays to the less fortunate. |
